1. Desensitize (verb): (To extinguish an emotional response) (असंवेदनशील बनाना)

Synonyms: Make Insensitive, Benumb, Anesthetize, Deaden.

Antonyms: Sensitize.

Example: It is easy for people that have witnessed a great deal of violence to become Desensitizedtowards it and the effects it has on others.
